I have worked and known Deb for almost 10 years and with direct supervision for 5 of those years (the last two years I have taken a new position at Claim University; prior to my current role I was an Auto Liability Manager in our Connecticut Auto Department). I can honestly state, Deb was one of my “go-to people” and delivered the “peace-of-mind” many managers seldom experience.

Deb is a knowledgeable, dedicated and driven Claim Professional. I can state without hesitation that her work ethic and professionalism are excellent. Deb came to us from a prior carrier as an experienced individual, but continued and consistently looked to improve not only herself, the department but the Enterprise as a whole. She has been active and a member of the following committees: Woman’s Diversity/Business Network (WDN), Community Outreach Committee, Employee Engagement Strategic Committee, and in the past the local office Social Committee; her community engagement ranges from assisting at the “Hands of Hartford” and the TPC to name only a couple. Deb is always willing to go the extra mile when warranted. Deb is well respected amongst her peers, and always a consummate team player. Deb was an integral part of my unit’s results and the success of the Connecticut Auto Claim Department.

As a prior Travelers’ manager (and 16 years prior to coming to Travelers), I certainly understand the importance of company philosophies, occupation and personal competencies and what I, and someone inside or outside my company, would look for in a future employee. Not only did Deb want to succeed in her current auto role, but I commend her in her personal growth during that time as well. Deb always wanted to increase her knowledge in the broader sense, as to why we do certain things in the department, our relationships with our fellow business partners and she wanted to understand “the bigger picture” of Travelers as an Enterprise. I am very confident Deb would succeed in any opportunity; and it is without hesitation that I would recommend Deb.
